*These notes are from Sir Zakria Afzal's "Pro Strategy to Grow Fast" Etsy
class. The shop setup, advertising and fulfillment points below distinguish
his suggestions from Etsy's published rules.*

## Start by diagnosing the shop

Sir Zakria's example is two shops with the **same product and listing**: one
gets orders, while the other does not. He suggests an IP or another account
issue might be responsible, but does not establish the cause. If a listing
gets no impressions, improve its SEO first. If visibility improves but orders
still do not come, review the offer and account performance before deciding
whether a second shop makes sense. This builds on the [ranking funnel and
listing diagnosis](etsy-ranking-funnel-and-pro-tips.md).[^zakria-afzal-pro-strategy]

He proposes opening another shop once the first earns around **$100**, and
selling the same kind of product there too. That figure is a class
suggestion, not an Etsy threshold or a sales guarantee.[^zakria-afzal-pro-strategy]

## Multiple shops: the lesson and Etsy's rules

The class recommends keeping each account's device, internet connection and
access setup separate. It describes a **"one IP, one account"** approach,
mentions a new laptop or phone, proxies and a remote desktop (RDP), and warns
that a problem with one account could affect others. It also advises against
a VPN, arguing that its IP may appear to be a hosting IP rather than a
residential one. These are the teacher's technical claims, **not documented
Etsy requirements**.[^zakria-afzal-pro-strategy]

The class names IP Royal, GoLogin, Proton and MoreLogin as options to
investigate. It quotes roughly **1,000 to 3,000** for a proxy or RDP, without
specifying the currency or a pricing date. It also mentions a possible
one-year free AWS RDP setup and says it may be slow. Treat the prices and
availability as class notes to check before spending money; the lesson does
not verify these providers or their terms.[^zakria-afzal-pro-strategy]

> [!IMPORTANT]
> Etsy **allows multiple shops**. Its published instructions require a
> separate Etsy account and email address for each shop, and say to list all
> the shops you run in each account's public profile. Etsy even suggests
> different browsers as a way to manage sign-ins. Its instructions do not
> state a one-shop-per-IP rule or require proxies, RDPs, VPNs or a new device.
> Use accurate account details and follow Etsy's seller rules rather than
> treating a new identity or IP as a fix for poor sales or an account
> problem.[^etsy-second-shop]

## Find product ideas with eHunt

Use this as a **weekly research loop**:[^zakria-afzal-pro-strategy]

1. Open eHunt's **Find Hot Product** feature and search a keyword such as
   **Bill Tracker**.
2. See whether products for that keyword are getting sales and study the
   listings that perform well.
3. Use their product types and presentation as **inspiration**. Create your
own product; do not copy a competitor's work as it is.
4. If only **two to four sellers** appear to be getting sales, consider
   moving to a different keyword.

The final step is the instructor's rule of thumb, not proof that a keyword
cannot work. The goal is to keep finding new ideas and checking demand.

## Test Etsy Ads

The class suggests starting at **$1 per day**, reviewing the campaign after
**seven days**, keeping ads on listings that brought sales, and switching off
the others. Etsy handles ad placement and optimization after the seller sets
the budget and chooses listings.[^zakria-afzal-pro-strategy][^etsy-ads-guide]

Sir Zakria also mentions an optional experiment: run a **$1** ad for about
**six hours**, switch it off, and later switch it on again. The notes do not
give a complete repeat schedule or results, so treat it as a test rather than
a proven hack.[^zakria-afzal-pro-strategy]

Etsy confirms that **$1 is the minimum daily budget** and that listings can
be turned on or off in a campaign. It recommends allowing **at least 30
days** to evaluate a listing strategy accurately. A seven-day check can
identify early signals, but may be too short for a firm conclusion.

## Grow through product models

Sir Zakria's proposed path is **digital products → print on demand (POD) →
drop shipping → physical products**. He encourages trying all four. In his
view, digital products take more work but little initial investment and can
help a beginner gain confidence from early orders; the other models require
investment. He sees substantial earning potential in drop shipping. These
are his business opinions, not guaranteed outcomes.[^zakria-afzal-pro-strategy]

> [!CAUTION]
> Etsy does **not** generally allow drop shipping or reselling ready-made
> goods. Its limited drop shipping exception covers craft and party supplies.
> POD is allowed when a production partner makes the seller's original design
> or a buyer's customization, subject to Etsy's disclosure rules. Check the
> product model against Etsy's current rules before listing it.

The class closes with a reminder that mistakes and ups and downs are part of
building a business. Keep learning and improving instead of expecting instant
success.[^zakria-afzal-pro-strategy]
