Steps
- Go to Ahrefs and open Content Explorer.
- Type the name of any topic, for example "AI convertor", and search it with Everywhere selected.1
- Topics like this one can be pulled out of ChatGPT.1
- Now play with the filters: set Domain Rating to 0 to 20, apply it, and show the results.1
- Click on the websites in the results. Each one shows its total pages, total traffic and DR.1
- Take the website that looks best and go to its organic keywords.
- Reverse engineer it. This is where goldmine niches turn up.1
Go on to its competitors
When you explore any website in Ahrefs, it also shows that website's top competitors. Open those as well, explore them and work on them the same way.1
Site age
A younger site is easy to compete with, and an older site is harder to compete with.1
